About Lisa
Born and raised in Eugene, OR, Lisa attended Sheldon High School. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in her hometown at the University of Oregon. She also earned her Master of Arts in Teaching at Concordia University and earned her SPED certificate from Portland State University. Lisa is a 14-year veteran in education and has a variety of educational experiences, including teaching middle schoolers in Clackamas, teaching English and Special Education at Franklin High School, and teaching at the now-defunct all-girls school, the Harriet Tubman Leadership Academy for Young Women. Lisa’s favorite aspect of blended/online learning is the increased opportunities to work with students one on one in their class.
When she is not working one on one with her students, Lisa can be found at a lacrosse tournament with her son, on the mountain or a river, or in front of a live band (No, not playing the tambourine! Watching the band.)
