Karen Gerber 

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Karen is glad to be supporting kids in their school and life goals. Karen has undergraduate degrees in English and American Studies and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland. She has a variety of teaching experiences including High School English, preschool, and a year of working at Max Plank Gymnasium in Trier, Germany as an English Language Assistant. In her role as a VS Mentor, Karen enjoys the opportunity to work one on one with students as they learn about themselves and the content of their VS courses. Outside of the classroom, Karen stays busy with her own high school aged kids and enjoys traveling, music and listening to audiobooks.
