Caitlin Beardall

Caitlin was born and raised in SE Portland. She attended Cleveland high school. After that, she graduated from the University of Oregon in 2017 where she studied family and human services with an emphasis in special education. While in school, Caitlin worked as a tutor with ESL and student-athlete students. Since graduating, she has worked for College Possible and Trillium Family Services. She also has a background in grief/addiction therapy and early childhood development. Caitlin first joined Portland Public Schools as a Paraeducator at Roosevelt High school. In the future, Caitlin is interested in getting her MSW in clinical social work to become a therapist. She is passionate about advocating for accessible education and mental health. Her favorite part of online learning is getting to help students find paths that fit their individual needs. In her free time, she enjoys music, poetry, watching stand-up comedy, painting, hiking, and reading psychology articles.
